ESCUDO LICD#250-2 insulated inline splice connector made from high strength 6061-T6 aluminum, dipped in black dielectric plastisol and prefilled with an oxide inhibitor to prevent rusting. 
Plugs are marked with min and max wire size for easy identification, cool temperature rated at -45°C, and accepts 14 to 2 AWG CU or AL solid or stranded wires. 
Using a multi tap connector saves time compared to wrapping wires with electrical tape. This insulated connector is cULus listed, UL Listed 486B and rated at 600 volts.
